Cancellation policy

  1. Reservation ConfirmationYour reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a valid credit card or an advanced deposit equivalent to 50% of the total reservation cost.

  2. Cancellation Deadlines

    2.1. For a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.

    2.2. Cancellations made within 14 days of the check-in date will result in a charge equivalent to 50% of the total reservation cost.

    2.3. Cancellations made within 3 days of the check-in date will result in a charge equivalent to 100% of the total reservation cost. 

  3. No-Show Policy: 

    Failure to check in on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice will result in the forfeiture of the reservation and a charge equivalent to 100% of the total reservation cost. 

  4. Early Departure: 

    Guests departing before the scheduled check-out date may be subject to a charge equivalent to 100% of the remaining reservation nights. 

  5. Long Stay (28 nights or more) Reservations: 

    Reservations (defined as 28 nights or more) are subject to a separate cancellation policy. 

  6. Refunds: 

    Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 5 days of the cancellation date, and the timing of the refund may vary depending on your financial institution. 

  7. Modifications: 

    Changes to reservation dates or room types are subject to availability and may result in a rate change. 

  8. Force Majeure: 

    In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or government-imposed travel restrictions, the hotel reserves the right to modify or waive the cancellation policy.

Avoid surprises by looking over these important details

We offer two entire apartments for your stay in Budapest:

  • Andrassy Garden Apartment located in the lush 6th (diplomatic) district of the city.
    You must climb stairs as the apartment is located on the 3rd floor
  • New York Café Apartment is located in the popular 7th (Jewish or “ruin bar”) district of the city in a calm area. This apartment is located on the Mezzanine so you only need to climb few stairs.

You will have access to the whole apartment. It's only you who stays there. Niether myself, nor other guests will bother you.

Flexible check-in and check-out time based on availability. Please indicate your estimated arrival and departure time to ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures.

  • You can check-in easily anytime after 1:00 pm with a lock box, even at night time.
  • You will be given the lock box code shortly before your stay.
  • You can check out anytime before 11:00 am by dropping the key in the lock box.

Smoking is not allowed in these properties.

Please save the environment by turning off the lights when not at the apartment. This also helps us keep the price low.

As per government regulation (Government Decree 239/2009 (20 October)) I need to request from you a photo of your passport (or ID for EU citizens) or personal datas of each guests per stay (Name, date and place of birth, ZIP of your residence, passport or ID number) before or at check-in. According to the regulation I must provide these datas to the National Tourist Data Supply Centre (NTDSC) through a software provided by the government.

  1. Acceptance of Terms
    1.1 By accessing and using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services.
  2. Booking and Payments
    2.1. To make a reservation, users must provide accurate and complete information.
    2.2. A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking, with the balance due 3 days before the check-in date.
    2.3. Payments are processed through Stripe and PayPal and all financial information is securely handled.
    2.4. Room rate includes accommodation for up to 2 people. Each additional person will incur an extra person charge of $25 per night.
  3. Reservation Changes and Cancellations
    3.1. Changes to reservations are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
    3.2. Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy, detailed on our website.
  4. Check-In and Check-Out
    4.1. Check-in time is at 1 PM, and check-out time is at 11 AM.
    4.2. Early check-ins and late check-outs may be accommodated based on availability and may incur additional fees.
  5. NTDSC data
    5.1. The National Tourism Data Supply Centre (NTDSC or NTAK) is a digital data supply system that presents the traffic and statistical data of all types of accommodation in the country real time.
    5.2. With the introduction of NTDSC system, each accommodation facility has to fulfil their data registration obligation required in relation to guest registration digitally, by using a hotel management software.
    5.3. NTDSC will receive data from the accommodation providers through a direct connection. Those data will be stored and processed, aggregated and structured reports and analyses will be prepared from them and they will be sent to the data supply actors of the sector and to the authorities specified by law.
    5.4. The operation of NTAK is defined in Act XCVII of 2018 on the amendment of Act CLVI of 2016 on the State’s Responsibilities Regarding the Development of Tourism Regions and related acts, and Government Decree 237/2018 (10 December) on the implementation of Act CLVI of 2016 on the State’s Responsibilities Regarding the Development of Tourism Regions.
    5.5. Required datas from each guests: Full name, Place and date of Birth, Nationality, City and Zip code of the residence, ID (for EU citizens) or Passport number
